The Independent Book Blogger Awards

Hey Remarkable Readers!

This year, Goodreads is hosting (along with the help of a few other organizations) an event called "The Independent Book Blogger Awards" (IBBA).  What is this event, you ask?  Tons of Book Bloggers get to sign up and then the readers (you) vote for your favorite blogs in each of four categories: Adult Fiction, Adult Nonfiction, Young Adult and Children’s, and Publishing Industry.  There are several different rounds of voting but, in the end, four bloggers win.  What do they win, you ask?  A trip to BEA, the world's largest publishing conference!  Anyways, I've signed myself up for this lovely little competition and I'd love if you'd go vote for Jessie's Remarkable Reads and your other favorite blogs!  Just click the little widget below or on the sidebar to vote for me!  Help to spread the word, too!  Thanks!

February TBR: Help me Choose!

Hey Remarkable Readers,

It's the first day of February and I need your help!  Below is my TBR video but, it's different than usual!  I have so many books I want to read so I need your help choosing which ones!  Please leave a comment with your 4 recommendations in order from most recommended to least.  Then, leave one more book and label it "Extra."  Here's an example comment:

"Hey Jessie, I think you should read Delirium, Ana and the French Kiss, Pandemonium, and Legend.  Extra:  Arcadia Awakens.  Have fun at the book signing!"

Got it?  Now watch the video and get commenting! :)

Here are the choices:

-Delirium by Lauren Oliver
-Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
-Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
-Legend by Marie Lu
-Arcadia Awakens by Kai Meyer
-The Secret Sisterhood of Heartbreakers by Lynn Weingarten
-The Girl Who Could Silence the Wind by Meg Medina
-Getting Over Garrett Delaney by Abby McDonald
-Torn by Amanda Hocking
-Girl Meets Boy edited by Kelly Milner Halls
-Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley
-The Butterfly Clues by Kate Ellison
Books in Bold weren't pictured in the video!

And I'll definitely be reading:

-Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare*

*I've already read this but, I'm required to read it for english class!  At least it's perfect timing for Valentine's Day!

Thanks for your help!
